One of our longer tours exploring the beauty, secluded beaches and large cliffs of the East Arm of Great Slave Lake. Depart from the float base on Latham Island in Yellowknife’s Historic Old Town for a tour by air of the deepest lake in North America flying over the Ingraham Trail, Taltheilei Narrows, Ethen Island, Blanchett Island and the Caribou Islands on the Hearne Channel, Gros Cap, Drybones Bay, Moose Bay, Wool Bay, Dene Community of Detah and Yellowknife Bay. A two hour stop, weather permitting, is made on the “Big Lake” to do a little exploring on foot.
